What a Sotong wants to say...: Food, Sports, Work, and PICTURES!!!!!!

Okay this post is a short post about what I had been doing for the past few days :D I categorised it into food, sports, work, and of course the pictures that sooooo many people have been wanting me to post up. Okay, here it goes!

FOOD:

Thanks to Shen and Sim, I had the opportunity to eat something that I seldom have the chance to eat - JAMMIE ITALIAN!! Hey just by looking at the name of the restaurant everybody will know is a high class restaurant. As I arrived the entrance of the restaurant, we had to wait a moment to get a seat (and this is not the peak period @.@). The price of the food is... err hmm.. HOWEVER!!! LOOKING AT THE BRIGHT SIDE!! The food is amazing!! I chose scallop and they really gave me big whole piece of scallops LOL! While eating the scallop, the sauce

will flow on your tongue, causing the taste to spread throughout your mouth.. taste of tomatoes and other mixed herbs.. Besides that, the food was so hot that the fragrance spread through out the mouth making the scallops tasted even delicious XD and for desert I had tiramisu and chocolate cake :P HEY IS NOT NORMAL CHOCOLATE CAKE!!! First bite.. I felt the chocolate melt on my tongue, giving the sweet chocolaty taste XD Next, the chocolate powder on the cake will fall on the tongue, causing the tongue to feel even more chocolate taste! It was epic!! The tiramisu is super tasty, too. The taste of the coffee and the alcohol was just nice that it fitted the taste of the base of the cake. When I bite it, the coffee taste just spread on the tongue like your actually eating coffee! Marvelous!! XD

SPORTS:

Ever since I came to Leeds, we had booked so many sessions of sports :P Well~ every sessions were fun.. BUT!! HOW COME TABLE TENNIS IN LEEDS IS SO COLD DOOR (冷门)!!! seriously wei.. Up until now I haven't meet anybody who like table tennis here ._. All I could found were footballers, basketballers, badmintoners.. @@ oh well I guess table tennis wasn't meant to be here at all.. They even dun have a room for table tennis as the table was placed in the intensive-bicycle-gym-equipment room @@ Oh well, at least I had fun playing with bro and friends :D after my room table was cleared I'm going to use the table to practice @@ (My skill was rusted).

WORK:

I JUST HAD MY 1st SHIFT YESTERDAY!! The work was fun I think :P (According to Sim, it will be boring after another 1 month or 2). When I arrived the hotel, the manager ordered us to set up the table for the main event that night - fashion show. While setting up the table, I get to learn how to display the cutleries properly. The end result of the arrangement was beautiful (I think). After that, we were ordered to start polishing the glasses. There were also other things like moving sofas and stuff. Polishing glasses was a boring work.. BUT!! thanks to psychology :P I tricked myself into thinking that polishing glass is fun... AND IT DID TURN OUT TO BE FUN!! XD At around 8.20 pm, we were asked to serve the people their food =x that same time I learnt how to hold 3 plates in 1 go XD we serve and clear and serve and clear till it is 10 pm, which was our break time. They prepared for us fish and potato with baked beans... but the fish was terrible, horrible, vegetable ._. imagine eating a fish with the texture like a chewing gum ._. thier tiramisu, compare to Jamie Itallian's, was like heaven and hell I should say. We ended the shift at 11pm, working a total of 6.5 hours on that shift. Just thinking of the $$ that I earned that shift I felt so worth it.. :D During work, I also get to meet several new people XD some worked there for a year plus, showed and taught me how to complete the tasks given by the manager. Hope I could get another shift soon. XD
