about 2010..

After reading a few reflective posts about 2010, I was inspired to post about it, too. Well truthfully, due to the 3 semester per year system in University, I tend to feel that 3 years instead of 3 semester had passed (which is kind of TOO FAST). When I realized today is the last day of 2010, i can't help thinking of how many changes I had been through this whole year. And believe me.. it's a lot.

2010 wasn't an all good (or all bad) year for me, thankfully. I do have many happy moments compare to the not so happy times. Basically there were many eventful days in this year, leading me from one path to another. The events had taught me not only to be strong and get over with my mistakes, it also helped me realized one of my deep (or deathly) flaw, which is being envious.

For years I've been wondering "Why the hell I reacted so emotionally when I see people being more capable or better than me??" Well, it is a dark side of mine (Sotong's personality? =x) that always made me feel inferior to others since young. And believe me, I also realized that due to this stupid flaw of mine, I had unintentionally hurt people around me and worse still, made myself down for most of the times. However, during the middle of 2010, a certain event had guided me to realize this dark side of mine (Yes, I'm slow at realizing things~) and taught me to rationalize myself whenever I started to feel envious about a certain situation or event. This also made me realized that my past "down" experience were almost all from the same cause and since then, being able to rationalize events had reduced my tendency to feel down most of the time.

Well, looking at what I had been through in 2010, I had definitely learnt a lot, and mostly on my personal developments. Thanks 2010 for teaching me a valuable lesson. Happy New Year PEEPS :D

Dublin

Hey guys! I'm terribly sorry for not updating my blog for so long. Part of the reason was due to the assignment rush AND laziness :P Anyway, this post is about my recent activity :D that's right! DUBLIN TRIP!!

First of all, I would like to say that Dublin is a nice place for relaxing, food testing, and of course.. photo-shooting! :D Why is it relaxing? (because bro plan the whole activity and I just need to shake leg and enjoy the trip :x) Well partly because there is a large river near our hotel and the cool breeze (or freeze breeze) make me feel like I'm next to the sea :P Besides that, Dublin have a lot of traditional Irish restaurant, and most of them offer a 3 course meal! XD (but some are seriously overpriced.. -.-) Pictures of food can be found in my facebook but not all of them are there because I tend to gobble my food before I realize the need to photograph it ._. And lastly, photo-shooting! There are so many buildings and scenery to take in Dublin :D one of my favourite building there is the Custom House because it looked so majestic with all the pillars there with sculptures! And also the bridges! There are so many bridges to connect gap due to the river. My bro and Sim had a fun time explaining about suspension and stuff that I can't really understand :P

Okay so that was my opinion about Dublin. However, what I realized from this trip was.. Dublin was about Songs! GUINNESS! and of course... the SHOPPING STREETS! Compare to UK, it was also a shopping paradise (UK seriously need some shopping center.. Malaysia looks far advanced in this).

Songs:

While travelling in Dublin, traditional Celtic Irish songs are played throughout the town especially pubs, bars and restaurants :D I mentioned this because these songs.. ARE ACTUALLY SONGS THAT I LOVED SINCE YOUNG!! Seriously.. the first song I heard from the pub next to the restaurant I'm was so cheerful and lively! I even started to download those songs now :P Besides the songs aren't the only one which is cool. The people that enjoyed the songs (or maybe drunks) had made the song even more cheerful like they had just won a battle or what :P Anyway if your up for cheerful and lively songs, I recommend these traditional yet alive songs :P

Guinness:

Well beer is always famous in Western Countries I guess? :P However, the fact that Dublin is the house for Guinness made it even famous. :D On the 2nd day of the trip, we went to the Guinness storehouse. The building looks normal on the outside (with a lot of poops on the floor, too..) but inside was beautiful! Inside the building, the center was emptied and was constructed like a pint glass shape from ground floor to top floor.

The ground floor shows the 5 main ingredients for brewing Guinness, which are water, barley, hops, yeast and ARTHUR! =x They even provided a brief history of Arthur and how he started brewing beer.

Level 1 of the building shows the various processes of brewing the beer, guided with videos with perfect timing on how the machine works (although those are cardboard machines only ._.). We were also allowed to test a quarter pint of Guinness there in the tasting laboratory :D.

Level 2 is where the various ads were shown. The ads, as you watched in the cinemas, are kinda... interesting (?).

Level 3 provided a interactive system for people to check out their drinking habits AND some quizzes to test how well we know about alcohol, Guinness and other stuff (scored 7/10 XD).

Level 4 tells the story of the building and other franchises. Apparently the 1st overseas brewing factory for Guinness is in MALAYSIA! (yay finally see Malaysia in famous place).

Level 5 is where the fun begins. We were taught to pour our own pint of Guinness and DRINK! XD the pouring part was exciting and we really did well in it :P After drinking a half pint of beer my vision start lagging~

Level 6 is were the restaurants were. It was an traditional Irish restaurant and most food was cooked with Guinness! The food was awesome and the desert was 1st class :D

Level 7, the top of the pint glass, was the Gravity Bar. It is a circle shaped bar with windows as walls. Due to that, it was a great place for photo-shooting (despite the amount of people there):D

Therefore if you ever come to Dublin, don't forget this place!! It will be meaningless to go Dublin without entering the Guinness Storehouse XD

Shopping Streets:

On the days we're in Dublin, we've been to 3 shopping streets ._. These places are always full of people and sometimes we were able to see people singing x'mas songs on the street. These shopping streets not only full of shop houses, they also have shopping complex there @@ which made it even bigger place for shopping. Due to the fact that I'm not the person that loves shopping, the ONE and ONLY places that I loved there was... souvenir shops (LOVE THE IRISH MUSIC PLAYED THERE!!) :P

Besides Dublin, we also been to two other places, which are Malahide and Howth.

Malahide:

This place was well-known for the famous Malahide Castle :D Well the castle was just like any castles or rich people houses, but the surrounding is marvelous! We had to walk through a mini forest, to a endless field, and then we reach the castle itself (see how big is it?). This place had allowed me to practice a few shots of photograph and learn to adjust the settings depending on the amount of light of each places. And about the castle, I was interested in the history of the family who used to live here. Voice guides also lead us to the different chambers to learn about the architecture, the furniture, the paintings, and also the family. It was told that this place was also haunted, which was quite the interesting to know, too (keke).

Howth:

Howth, the fishing village, is like another Kuala Selangor :P HOWEVER!!! There's 1 thing that Kuala Selangor will NEVER have :P that's right! Wild seals (or is it sea lions?) ~~~ :P It's cute when people were trying to lure them up for photography and the seagulls snatch the fishes away :P We walked around there for more photographs and ate in a bar there. The seafood there was awesome and super fresh :P loved the mussels a lot XD

Despite having fun and enjoy the relaxation, we learnt quite a lot of things from this trip :)

1. They used Euro here. ._. Actually thought they used Pounds at 1st.

2. We learnt that the hotel breakfast is similar to Queens =x even the layout and the food (lalala)

3. We learnt that Malaysia IS famous here in Ireland, especially in Guinness.

4. We learnt about the Irish folklore and other stories regarding Leprechauns.

5. Learnt the Irish Celtic Symbols and its meanings.

6. Irish songs is cheerful and lively! XD

7. Things here aren't cheap because it is in Euro @@

8. It is super cheap to fly to Dublin using RyanAir.

9. Malahide has better scenery than Dublin (and interesting story about the family).

10. Howth have fresh seafoods!!

AND LASTLY!!! I GOT A CERT FOR POURING A PINT OF GUINNESS!! XD okay bye bye =x

Manchester, Bonfire NIght, Notts Games :D

Sorry for the late updates for the past two weeks. After all the assignment rush, I was relaxing myself throughout the week, which resulted in the increase of laziness to update my blog =x

Anyway, these are the things I'm going to talk about in my blog: Manchester trip, bonfire night, and Notts Games.

Manchester Trip:

This was the second time i travel through train, but the first time I saw the procedure of getting into the train :D It was early in the morning when we walked down to the train station. Surprisingly, there are so many seagulls in Leeds @@ I wonder if there is any sea nearby because the whole street is full of them. We bought a cup of coffee and a burger each and we're off to the train to Manchester :D At the same time bro taught me how to read the sign board. While waiting for the train, I saw Jing Han and her friends there, too. She was going to Liverpool that day (and yup she had fun =x).

We got down at Manchester Piccadilly and went to shop for groceries (YES ALL THE WAY TO MANCHESTER FOR GROCERIES!!). The China Town there is kind of quiet in the morning, and many shops were still close. We meet up with Shen's friend, Mun Yee there. She was the tour guide for the day :P We went to more Chinese shops and a shopping center, and then to University of Manchester. Gosh I was surprised that the university is so big @@ There are tons of buildings that caught my attention. After a brief tour there, we ate at TaiPan. The dim sum there was delicious, but I still prefer dim sums in Malaysia :P. Mun Yee then went back to continue her work while we took a bus to Trafford Centre, the largest mall here in Manchester :D The mall looked a lot like Sunway Pyramid, just that it is BIGGER than it. We took a bus back to Picadilly and meet up with Mun Yee for dinner in Tokyo Season :D The sushi here was DELICIOUS!! We also bought a few egg tarts in Manchester as my bro say the egg tarts here were the best among other places. After a satisfying meal, we got home. :)

Bonfire Night:

On November 5th, I suggested to my bro to go for the Bonfire Night. What is Bonfire Night all about? According to Wikipedia (2010), Bonfire Night, also known as Guy Fawkes Night, is an annual celebration for the failed Gunpowder Plot on November 5th, 1605. It was made a public holiday under the Observance of 5th November Act 1605, also known as the Thanksgiving Act. The reason behind the lighting of bonfire can be found in detail in Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guy_Fawkes_Night)

The place was full of people that night. I witnessed the lighting of bonfire that night and was glad that I didn't miss this opportunity. Although I was innocent of the whole event, the cheers of the crowd really made my day that night. It was said that there were fireworks after that, but I'm not a fans of fireworks, and therefore went home after the lighting of bonfire.

Notts Games:

The next day after Bonfire Night, we went to Nottingham to watch the Nottingham Malaysian Games. It is a large sports event in Nottingham that attract many Malaysians-related university society to join and meet up. It was first organised by the committee of the Nottingham Malaysian Society in 1985, and was since held annually until today.

Again we woke up early in the morning to catch the train to Nottingham. When we reached Nottingham, we were told that the basketball match is held in the main sports centre, which was 1 mile away from the train station @@ GOSH we had to walk for 1 mile to get there. Anyways on the road to University of Nottingham, we naturally got attracted by the buildings and scenery in Nottingham and end up walking in the park. I enjoyed that moment a lot because the whole long journey had become a photo-shoot outing!

After finished walking the park, we finally reached the sports centre. We meet up with Jess, Ying Sim's friend during her intern and Chong Boon, our cousin in law XD. Chong Boon took part in basketball that day. After watching his match, we went out together for lunch in Portland Building, where they sell a lot of Malaysia's delicacy there. After meeting up with Mun Yee and Kay Por, we had our lunch (NASI LEMAK!!). We then off to find another friend of bro, Vincent, and Vin Soon. After a session of chit chat, we went to Vincent's place and another photo shoot outing :P In the evening, we went back to watch basketball semi-finals and final match. I was surprised that University of Leeds made to the final, playing with Imperial College. The players of University of Leeds were rough @@ imagine 7 fouls in 10 minutes.. In the end Imperial College won 21-20.

After the match, we went for dinner in The Dunkirk Inn. It is an Indian restaurant. Due to the lack of time, we were forced to eat faster to avoid missing our train. The lamb there is delicious! love it :D after dinner we took a taxi back to the train station. Lucky us we made it on time :D.

Food, Sports, Work, and PICTURES!!!!!!

Okay this post is a short post about what I had been doing for the past few days :D I categorised it into food, sports, work, and of course the pictures that sooooo many people have been wanting me to post up. Okay, here it goes!

FOOD:

Thanks to Shen and Sim, I had the opportunity to eat something that I seldom have the chance to eat - JAMMIE ITALIAN!! Hey just by looking at the name of the restaurant everybody will know is a high class restaurant. As I arrived the entrance of the restaurant, we had to wait a moment to get a seat (and this is not the peak period @.@). The price of the food is... err hmm.. HOWEVER!!! LOOKING AT THE BRIGHT SIDE!! The food is amazing!! I chose scallop and they really gave me big whole piece of scallops LOL! While eating the scallop, the sauce

will flow on your tongue, causing the taste to spread throughout your mouth.. taste of tomatoes and other mixed herbs.. Besides that, the food was so hot that the fragrance spread through out the mouth making the scallops tasted even delicious XD and for desert I had tiramisu and chocolate cake :P HEY IS NOT NORMAL CHOCOLATE CAKE!!! First bite.. I felt the chocolate melt on my tongue, giving the sweet chocolaty taste XD Next, the chocolate powder on the cake will fall on the tongue, causing the tongue to feel even more chocolate taste! It was epic!! The tiramisu is super tasty, too. The taste of the coffee and the alcohol was just nice that it fitted the taste of the base of the cake. When I bite it, the coffee taste just spread on the tongue like your actually eating coffee! Marvelous!! XD

SPORTS:

Ever since I came to Leeds, we had booked so many sessions of sports :P Well~ every sessions were fun.. BUT!! HOW COME TABLE TENNIS IN LEEDS IS SO COLD DOOR (冷门)!!! seriously wei.. Up until now I haven't meet anybody who like table tennis here ._. All I could found were footballers, basketballers, badmintoners.. @@ oh well I guess table tennis wasn't meant to be here at all.. They even dun have a room for table tennis as the table was placed in the intensive-bicycle-gym-equipment room @@ Oh well, at least I had fun playing with bro and friends :D after my room table was cleared I'm going to use the table to practice @@ (My skill was rusted).

WORK:

I JUST HAD MY 1st SHIFT YESTERDAY!! The work was fun I think :P (According to Sim, it will be boring after another 1 month or 2). When I arrived the hotel, the manager ordered us to set up the table for the main event that night - fashion show. While setting up the table, I get to learn how to display the cutleries properly. The end result of the arrangement was beautiful (I think). After that, we were ordered to start polishing the glasses. There were also other things like moving sofas and stuff. Polishing glasses was a boring work.. BUT!! thanks to psychology :P I tricked myself into thinking that polishing glass is fun... AND IT DID TURN OUT TO BE FUN!! XD At around 8.20 pm, we were asked to serve the people their food =x that same time I learnt how to hold 3 plates in 1 go XD we serve and clear and serve and clear till it is 10 pm, which was our break time. They prepared for us fish and potato with baked beans... but the fish was terrible, horrible, vegetable ._. imagine eating a fish with the texture like a chewing gum ._. thier tiramisu, compare to Jamie Itallian's, was like heaven and hell I should say. We ended the shift at 11pm, working a total of 6.5 hours on that shift. Just thinking of the $$ that I earned that shift I felt so worth it.. :D During work, I also get to meet several new people XD some worked there for a year plus, showed and taught me how to complete the tasks given by the manager. Hope I could get another shift soon. XD

Thank you for attending your interview last week with Nightline. Unfortunately we have decided to not to progress with your application to join us at this time.

This is primarily because you indicated to us that you were unable to make all of the required training dates. As mentioned previously, our training programme is quite intensive, and so all dates are mandatory in order to become a volunteer. In another 2 more days I will sit for a test. Not a normal test!!@@ this test contain 25% of my marks for research methods ._. and I will need to write an essay about gender difference and autism @@. Initially thought that after reading the journals, I will be able to write something; however, I had realized that it wasn't that easy to write when I had finished the journals given. Oh well, hope tomorrow I'll figure something out that will help in the essay. @@

Anyway, I just finished clearing my bookmark tags and I found something that is super valuable for me :D Valuable as in it still brings me back memories of the assignment rush back in Malaysia. XD

Updates :D

Hey guys :D sorry for not updating my blog for quite some time =x I had been neglecting my blog for some days (yes, I admit it) and now I'm back to put a post on what had happen here in UK :D

First of all, I FOUND ANOTHER MALAYSIAN!!! Her name is Pang Vern Mei (Edele Pang). She's from Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. She definitely has many to catch up since she arrive just 3 days ago. Luckily the university allowed her to enter this semester and postpone her Critical Essay test. She had joined my group for the mini project. Nice meeting her and WELCOME TO LEEDS! XD

Next, I would like to wish my mom HAPPY BDAY :P sorry for posting it late. Hope you enjoyed your day and may your wish come true.

Thirdly, my internet is back XD YES!! However, the funny thing is that we aren't suppose to change the SSID name and passphrase @@ Didn't like the name VirginMedia there ._. oh well no choice. Anyway I'll be online more often now and less DC (YAY!) :P

Lastly, I HAVE A JOB!!!!! A part-time waiter at QHotels :D now I can earn some kaching~~~ I also went for interview for Nightline :P Hope I'll be qualify for it XD

Events After Events :D

Should I say that I'm lucky enough to stay with my brother? YES! OF COURSE! Seriously!! Sooo many events in 1 week time. Because of that, I don't even have the time to blog about them (plus the bad Internet connection and distractions from Hong Kong dramas =x) @_@. These are the events:

• Reserved some books from the library :D thanks to Sim (because Shen was busy that time), i manage to understand what the status actually meant :) Yay! This will save the money for buying textbook :D

• Followed Sim to Queens Hotel for the 1st time. I learnt the way to go there that day :D Passed up my application form that day, too. After that went to McD for the 1st time in Leeds :P The burger (or sandwich) was a supposedly healthy sandwich since it was named with the word "Salad" instead of "Burger" =x Yummy I guess =x but prefer Grilled Chicken Fold-over from McD in Malaysia XD Hope I will receive some feedback from the hotel soon :)

• Got my first assignment for my course :) This assignment isn't that hard compare to HELP's; however, I was told that it is hard to obtain a good score for projects. On the same day, I got my groupmates (all are ang mohs and women @_@). I had a hard time trying to understand what they discussed since their British accents were so strong.. Well, I have to get use to the accent to live here, so I have no choice but to get use to it.

• Went to Queens Hotel again on the 2nd of October. This time was Sim's first shift since she returned to Leeds. After she got into the hotel, Shen brought me to Red Chillies again ._. This is the first time I actually had dinner with my brother alone =x quite a memorable night since I was more myself that few hours and was able to talk to him privately :D

• Brought Shen and Sim to Psychology lab. They were my first and second participants for my project :D It was fun to see their reaction when they were doing the experiment :P The next day, I brought Kian Tiah, Jing Han and Alicia to do the same experiment, too. Thanks all of my participants! XD my work to obtain data is DONE!
• Got an email from Nightline :D the interview will be held on 15th October :) Although it is a voluntary job, the experience that I will get from this job will be helpful in my future career :D Hope my interview will be a OK :)

• Helped Shen to bake his cake for his birthday :P Well most of the work was done by him alone since he is the boss =x Sim and I were helpers only. Oh well.. Once a HELP-er forever a helper right?:P anyway we stopped the cake baking process midway to have our dinner. The cake was finally finished (except for the last step which is leaving it for a night) at around 11.45pm =x

• Received an email from the library about my reserved book. I am able to collect my book now! Okay going to collect it tomorrow in the morning :D time for some proper reading =x

• Thanks to Jon the Sei Yea, I entered the contest by PhotoRadar. Thanks Sei Yea for the answer :P hope I'll be lucky enough to get the prize (Canon EOS 550D). OKAY!! TIME FOR SOME POSITIVE THOUGHTS!!! XD Law of attraction RULEZ!!! :P

• Shen's Birthday :D Guess what? He literally spent his birthday afternoon time at home ._. I can't believe he did not even move an inch after I got back from class @_@ oh well he liked it. After he sent Sim to work, I met him in the sports hall to book a basketball court on Sunday (4 hours of sports since 9.30 am :P) DotA with him afterwards until 7 pm and we went out to meet Chew Fatt at Red Chillies. Thanks for the meal and cake Chew Fatt :D After Sim and Alicia finished their shift, we headed home and celebrated Shen's birthday again together with another 2 friends of his (Chian Hao and Gerald). Hope your wish will come true Shen :D HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! (sadly didn't have the mood to take photo = forgot to take photo ._. still need time to be a photographer I guess :P)

Missing in Action Report

Been few days I did not update my blog. These few days were a bit busy + poor internet connection. Anyway I felt that I had somewhat got used to life in UK :D Despite the cold weather and the increase in ang mohs, it is almost same as Malaysia :D although I do admit that I missed Malaysia food already.. T_T char kuey tiao... kak kueh... hokkien mee...

HOWEVER!!!

Notice that I have not miss Nasi Lemak yet. Why is that? Well, I just had nasi lemak day before yesterday :P Not some ang moh style nasi lemak.. MALAYSIAN NASI LEMAK!! XD Thanks to Shen's group of friends, I finally got to eat actual Malaysian food!! Thanks guys :D And also that sweet potato tong sui XD it was delicious :P

Yesterday my class finally started. Class was.. nice? =x Imagine having all lectures taught by Ms. Winnie Cheong (cancel the quizzes), that's the feeling and excitement I was having during the lectures XD After class went home and start thinking about dinner ._. Initially we planned to cook. Thanks to Shen, we went out to eat Red Chillies again~ at the same time to celebrate Sim for moving in our place XD

Well today was quite a nice day :P

Good news:

1. Sim finally settled her accommodation problem and moved in :D
2. Downloaded all my notes that were available at the moment
3. Bought cotton pants :P
4. Went to the city to register for Internet XD
5. Get pizza from Domino Pizza for 1 Pound :P
6. Successfully exchanged the arrangement of the living room XD

Bad news:

1. Shen got slight headache this morning
2. Shen got migraine after that..
3. He also vomited due to dizziness..

Hope he is alright.. Prayed and wish he will be as healthy as a cow tomorrow @@

Ying (Bad) Yang (Good) Day @@

This is a delayed post (due to Internet failure).

BAD day at first-,- I woke up in the morning and was soo enthusiastic in meeting new friends from Psychology Year 2. After breakfast (bread+mustard+ham+cheese+sambal dried shrimp+black pepper) I got a slight ache on my head. Well~ it was only a slight pain so I didn't bother much about it @_@; however, it got worse and worse every minute and end up I got migraine!! For those who are new to this word, migraine is "an intense and throbbing pain, which often occurs in one side of the head, although it can be more generalised. Migraines fall into two main categories, without aura (common migraine) and with aura, or classic migraine. Around 1 in 6 cases of migraine are preceded by an aura.

An aura is a warning sign that appears between 15 minutes and one hour before the headache starts." (McNeil Healthcare (UK) Limited, 2010).

Because of that, I had to sleep for almost a day just to get rid of the pain. I woke up during the afternoon and had lunch with my cousin Ah Muan kor. :D Kudos to him that he had successfully passed the interview for a new company (paiseh ah because of my meet you ate bar food instead of dim sum ._.) During the meet for Year 2 Psychology which is 2 pm, I was shocked that the whole room has only 3 (including me) Chinese.. (or maybe 3 Malaysians) and both of them were from HELP :D Lai Kian Tiah and Jing Han XD well i guess i need to increase my number of friends here @@.

After the meet i went back home to register 1 more additional elective subject.. apparently my internet failed me after that @_@ after watching 2 episode of 公主嫁到 (Can't Buy Love), which is a nonsensical comedy, i went back to bed. -,-

I woke up at dinner time when Shen's friend, Alicia came. Dinner was cooked by Shen I guess.. =x (Sorry ah Sim if you actually cooked some of it :P) After dinning with Alicia, we played The Game of Life (since my headache was gone by then). I wonder whether is it beginner's luck, I WON THE GAME XD!!

After all the fun, i went to bath while Shen send Alicia and Sim off. After that I started to fill in my application form for part time work at QHotels.

Greetings from Leeds :D

Phew @_@ bad internet connection here~

ANYWAY I am writing this post to update my blog on my arrival at Leeds!! yay~~ I arrived at Manchester Airport in the afternoon on 22th September. My brother came to help Ying Sim, his bao bei and me on our luggages in the airport that day. We took a train from Manchester to Leeds, which took around 1 hour and 10 minutes. We reached Leeds Station around 4.10 and then took a cab to return to our accommodation, Blenheim Terrace :D

While Shen was helping Sim on her accommodation, I simply borrowed Internet use ID. The connection is super bad as the university is quite far from my place in terms of WiFi distance. However I was truly grateful that I was still able to talk to everybody in Malaysia through the bad internet connection :D That night was a blast (despite the fact that we waited half an hour to get a sit)! We ate at Red Chillies, a Chinese Restaurant in Leeds.

The food there was nice although a bit salty; however, the portion was too big that we had to take home the leftovers =x I slept well that night, which either due to jet lag or the cold weather :D

23th September.. I woke up and tasted Shen's Oreo cheesecake. Initially he planned to give Sim a surprise yesterday but we were too full to continue eating =x The cake was excellent (although not as tasty as mom's =x). We got out at 9 am to get my registration done. Seriously I can't

believe i didn't take a bath but wash up only in the morning @@ Oh well.. as my bro said, I need to get use to the lifestyle here ._. After registrations, we went to buy some groceries. it was fun walking with them (the way Sim force my bro to eat vegetables and fruits was epic! XD).

In the evening, Shen took a nap while both Sim and me were using the internet. At around 6.30pm.. I cooked XD Thanks to Sim for helping me with the in

gredients (she was good at it) while I fried the long beans and cook the tofu. The dinner was.... interesting.. @@ not to mention that the bean isn't cooked enough, the tofu had this weird sourly taste that i don't really like. Oh well, everybody has his first time, right? XD

Hey guys.. this is a scheduled blog post :D Today i will be leaving Malaysia and head to Leeds, UK for my 2nd Year Bachelor of Psychology. It is a good opportunity to continue my studies in UK, however i still feel sad for leaving Malaysia because I have to leave both my family and friends who had supported me so much. :( Therefore I will take this opportunity to thank everybody.. :D

Mom and Dad.. thanks for supporting me to go overseas. The cost of studying there is soo expensive that i almost dropped my jaws when I realized it. I also wanted to thank you for helping me in my application to the university and my visa. Without both of you, I don't think that I will be able to settle these smoothly. I promise both of you that I will do my very best and save my money in Leeds. :D Thanks for helping me pack, too @@ I was seriously amazed that all the stuff could fit into one big luggage bag :D

Ann.. thanks for everything you had done for me. Seriously when Shen went to UK i am in need of a person to joke around and kacau me. :D im very happy that you even skip your class today just to go hang out together.. Don't forget to kacau me when im in UK yeah? :P I don't want to feel homesick because of that. XD Oh yeah.. don't eat too many junk food =x later you become fat I cannot help you =x. All the best in your test yeah :D

Ah Ma Ah Gong.. Thanks for coming down to KL for 2 weeks just to see me off :D I was deeply touched by that. I will learn how to cook from Shen and also make sure Shen took all the vitamins you all gave :P if he refuse, I will force him XD. I will miss the cooking (especially black black soup). When i come back i want go Taiping again!! XD

Shen.. thanks for helping me with the application. Eh thanks for searching a place to stay, too.. Teach me how to cook yeah XD but be aware that i wont be making spicy meals everyday :P SEE U THERE XD

Jon.. Hey sei yea! we've had soo many fun times together since foundation year. Although we argued at times, we always ended up in good terms again :D Besides that, you had taught me to be more firm on decision making and also advised me when I was in need of help. Oh yeah!! and thanks for introducing ping pong into my list of hobbies :P You are also a friend who is willing to stand up for me when you feel that i was not treated fairly. I appreciate it a lot :D Thanks for the video, moose and the time spent to teman me these few days :D Let's go out again, okay? Next stop.. PENANG!! BROHGA!! XD

Wynn.. HEY!! thanks for everything during the past few months. There are sooo many things that I can't write all of it here @@ (will make this post suuuper long). You had made every badminton outing enjoyable and I really wished to go badminton with you in UK too :D thanks for helping me with visa application and clearing my doubts all the time when I'm down. Besides that, i also appreciate that you are willing to allow me release my mang-ness =x see u in uk XD lets go badminton again there :D

Sha.. elo nana! i still remember the times when we hang out together.. It was soo much fun to kacau u all the time :P besides that you were always there when I'm in need of help. Thanks for helping me double check my assignments too :D without tat i dun think i could get such marks :P seriously I was surprised that we shared so many similarities (way of thinking and feeling). September 20th...

This will be the actual first post for this blog. :D I went to Midvalley today with Leonard, Kim, and Jon to watch 'Piranha' (Yeah, this movie was out quite long ago~). The movie was at 1.30 pm. While waiting for it, we went to Carls Jr. for lunch! XD Due to some "technical difficulties", Jon the sei yea arrived later than we planned =x After lunch we went for the movie :P

Well.. if you ask me how was the movie, I could only say OMG!! THAT was disgusting ._. watching the piranhas biting off people's flesh little by little was super gross.. This had made me closed my eyes almost throughout the show @@. However, some part of the show was too bloody that i couldn't see what had happened.. Despite the censored scenes, the show is quite... interesting... i guess @@.

Anyway after the movie, Leo and Kim went back. Jon and I then walk around Midvalley. We ended up in MPH bookstore and spent some time there looking at books and magazines.. After a cup of ice cream in New Zealand Natural, we headed home =x thanks for this outing sei yeas and Kim. I had a great time with you guys. XD

After I got home, I started this blog.. Oh well.. still have much to learn about blogging. @@ Okay time to pack. Ciaoz :D

Intro...

First of all, I never knew that I will start a blog.. @@ Anyway, here it is :D I will update this blog when anything interesting happen or when i feel like it. Therefore try not to wait for a new post every single day as that will NEVER happen (sotong can't remember to post everyday)!!

Well.. That's all I wanted to say for the first post. =x (hey, I'm new in this kind of thing, okay?) Will try to use more of the functions in the other post. :P
